You must find satisfaction in your occupation otherwise you don,t
have an occupation. This happy young man fully dressed in his
uniform should be an example to those people who
works because they want to
make money and not because they find fulfillment, joy or happiness in their
present job. This man, name(unknown) but from his outfit we can tell that he is
an Anambra state Traffic warden was seen at the Aroma Junction, performing his
duty with his whole heart. I must confess that this young man really made my
day. At first when i saw him i thought that he is probably acting a movie but
when i looked around i found no cameras or people around him, that was when realise
that the young man is only doing his job. I was really touched seeing his
devotion to his work.
In Nigeria you will find many people that are careless with their
work, all they know is that at the end of the month they wants to receive their
salary and they don’t care if the services they offered really merit them to be
paid salaries. This is a serious issue in Nigeria especially for those that
works for the Government, all they does is that they come to work in the
morning and fills the attendance form and that’s all for the day, any other
things don’t matter to them and this is really wrong . Traffic wardens are
playing a very important role in Nigeria today, why am I saying that? In Nigeria 50% accidents that happens
recently occurs on strategic places where the need of Traffic light or traffic
wardens are seriously needed. Some of these accidents may occur due to the
following reasons

Faulty traffic light: This is also one of the serious problems
causing accidents in busy cities in Nigeria and some African countries. In some
cities in Nigeria where you find traffic
light situated in busy and strategic places, you often find out that when the
traffic light becomes faulty, nobody care to fix it thereby giving room for
accidents

Carelessness of drivers: these one is also common in Nigeria and it
happens when a drivers thinks they are clever and wants to beat traffic by quickly
or maybe they are in a hurry and they don’t obey the traffic signs
·
Carelessness of traffic wardens: In some busy places where there is a need for a
traffic light installed their but are not available maybe because the once
their got damaged or are destroyed or maybe the place is still a developing
town, the need for a trained traffic wardens will be needed to direct and
instruct drivers and passer byes on what to do and what not to do. But unlike
this man that is devoted to his job, some other traffic wardens choose to relax
at the road side of places where they are supposed to be coordinating and
controlling. This are people that don’t probably know the nature of their jobs
or don’t even care if people get hurts or not.
